Beheshteh joined Goldsmith Chambers in October 2018 as a criminal pupil. Beheshteh is supervised by Grace Ong.

While studying law, Beheshteh represented excluded school children before both Governors and an Independent Review Panel. She volunteered at The Howard League for Penal Reform, producing one-page case summaries. In addition, Beheshteh was previously a Director of Vocalise, an award-winning programme which teaches debating in prisons, and has taught at both HMP Scrubs and HMP Holloway.

She has also mooted internationally, most recently at the International Criminal Court Moot Competition, and has been both a judge and a coach for other international competitions.

Before coming to the Bar, Beheshteh worked for several years in various guises, one of which was as a headhunter. She hopes that this experience will assist her in building her career at the Bar.
