James practises mainly in crime, in all areas of criminal work. He is also experienced in immigration law, personal injury, professional negligence, administrative law / judicial review, mental health, family and employment law.
He has acted for the former DHSS, the Treasury Solicitor, the Home Office, the Crown Prosecution Service, HM Customs & Excise. He undertakes prosecution and defence work and is an experienced Crown Court trial advocate.
James is qualified to accept direct access work and is accredited by Bar Council. He can therefore be instructed directly by members of the public.
