Represented the Crown in an exposure case where the Crown’s witnesses were 2 children who had not had ABE interviews and were distraught at the idea of giving evidence about what they had witnessed

Represented a Defendant charged with ABH of his partner and child, where the Defendant failed to attend the trial. ABH of child dismissed at half time after Ngaa made successful submissions on the evidence.

Secured a non-custodial sentence for a youth Defendant convicted of his second knife possession

Secured a suspended sentence for Defendant who had stolen a bank card, obtained money fraudulently and then subsequently perverted the course of justice by reporting to police that a named individual had held a gun to his head and forced him to steal the money.
Ngaa undertakes work in all areas of family law, including Private and Public Law Children, Financial Remedies and Family Law Act proceedings. Ngaa regularly represents clients who are involved in private children proceedings and accepts instructions in all stages of such proceedings, including final and fact-finding hearings. Ngaa has experience representing parents in care proceedings where care proceedings have been instigated because of domestic violence, drink and drug dependence and mental health problems.
