This webinar is an invaluable introduction for practitioners who are new to this practice area.

27 May 2020, 3:00pm – TOLATA Cases – A Very Brief IntroductionJoanna Gillan and Oliver Newman will provide a brief introduction to TOLATA cases: what they look like in practice and the common pitfalls to avoid in the preparation and presentation of TOLATA cases. This webinar will provide a welcome introduction and a helpful revision of TOLATA to those whose practice does not regularly involve TOLATA.

28 May 2020, 3:00pm – Covid-19 Measures in ImmigrationSamina Iqbal and Sarah Pinder will provide an overview of the steps and measures introduced by the Home Office and the Courts as a direct result of the Covid-19 pandemic, as they relate to immigration. This will include, steps that applicants should take if their leave to remain is due to expire but they cannot leave the UK, procedures in place for lodging appeals and judicial review claims via any specific categories/policies introduced, such as with NHS workers, as well as, other important changes.

28 May 2020, 4:00pm – A beginners guide to insolvencyStephen Willmer and Daniel Searle will present an introduction to insolvency cases for those seeking to expand their practice in this area. Businesses and individuals are facing, or will soon face, significant economic pressure both as creditors and debtors as result of the Covid-19 pandemic. This webinar will discuss the process of presenting bankruptcy and winding-up petitions and practical steps to avoid stumbling blocks.

29 May 2020, 3:00pm – A guide to neighbour disputesOliver Newman and Joanna Gillan present a guide to neighbour disputes. Quarantine has meant that everyone has spent more time at home and this has frequently lead to friction. Oliver Newman and Joanna Gillan will guide you through some common areas of dispute between neighbours, including boundary disputes, rights of way, disrepair and noise nuisance, including seeking relief by way of an interim injunction.
