The case of A (A Child: Female Genital Mutilation: Asylum) [2019] EWHC 2475 (Fam) (25 September 2019) was before the Court of Appeal on 12th March 2020. The Court of Appeal was invited to reconsider how the family court should evaluate findings about the risk of FGM made in the immigration courts.
