Immigration and Public Law Barrister

Bradley previously worked as a Home Office Presenting Officer, where he developed substantial experience across a wide range of immigration matters, including asylum and humanitarian protection appeals, Article 8 claims, deportation appeals, deprivation of citizenship appeals, entry clearance cases, applications under the EU Settlement Scheme, and immigration detention bail applications.

This experience has given him valuable insight into Home Office decision-making and litigation strategy, which he now draws upon when representing applicants to identify weaknesses in the Secretary of State’s case and advance his clients’ interests effectively.

Bradley has a strong interest in immigration and asylum law and is committed to achieving fair and just outcomes for his clients.

Family Barrister

Bradley has sat as a Family Magistrate since March 2025, where he has been involved in determining a range of family law matters. He has gained experience in several areas of private family law matters including all types of hearings in child arrangements disputes, applications for injunctions and enforcement, and allegations of domestic abuse. He also has experience of public care proceedings involving vulnerable parties.

This appointment has given Bradley an insight into judicial reasoning, the evaluation of evidence and effective case management in family proceedings. He has developed a strong appreciation of the welfare principle and the factors relevant to determining a child’s best interests. He is keen to apply this to his practice to present clear, focused submissions and to assist clients in navigating family disputes effectively.

Civil Barrister

Bradley has experience in civil litigation, such as personal injury and clinical negligence. Before joining the Home Office, Bradley worked as the legal assistant of Dr Daniel Sokol, a leading barrister specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence. Bradley assisted with the analysis of complex medical and legal issues, including the assessment of liability, causation and quantum.
