David practises exclusively in crime and has a busy practice both defending and prosecuting. He has experience across a broad range of criminal matters, from violent offences (including in a domestic context) and robbery, to allegations of rape and drugs offences.
Prior to coming to the Bar, David worked in the litigation department at a leading global law firm working across their public law and financial services departments. He has previously been involved with a number of organisations working in the criminal justice sector both here and in France.

Operation Lytton: Junior Counsel (led by Meyrick Williams) for second defendant in Rochdale grooming case. This was the first trial in a new series arising from the police investigations into historic child sexual abuse in Rochdale, following on from Operation Doublet and others.
R v AP: [ongoing] Representing client charged on 16 count indictment with multiple allegations of harassment and malicious communications, including a number of high profile individuals, politicians and senior legal professionals.
R v SR: Represented client in allegation of home invasion robbery and false imprisonment.
R v AH: Represented first defendant in multi-handed dangerous driving case, client and co-defendants were all serving police officers.
R v AC: Represented vulnerable autistic client in case of sexual communication with a child.
R v SS: Represented vulnerable client who had been a victim of domestic abuse, accused of stabbing her partner (s.18 GBH).
