Jerry is a leading junior criminal practitioner specialising in high profile homicide, large scale drug importations, rape and serious sexual offences, fraud, money laundering and people trafficking. He also prosecutes rape and serious sexual offences.

Jerry has appeared in a number of reported cases and presents television and radio shows as well as being a best selling author.

Jerry appeared in the notorious Birmingham postal ballot fraud and subsequently was leading counsel in an action in the Administrative Court to postpone the 2005 General Election because of the fraudulent postal voting system.

Jerry was a member of Parliament from 1983/1997 serving in the Northern Ireland Office and the then Department of the Environment.

Jerry was prosecuting counsel in the landmark case of Liam Allan which led to an overhaul of the law of disclosure. He stopped the trial (multiple rapes) when he discovered that the police had failed to disclose vital social media messages.

Jerry has also written the foreword to the latest edition of Banks on Sentencing and is a legal commentator on Good Morning Britain, Talk Radio and LBC.
