Katherine specialises in Family and Immigration Law. She is recognised for fearlessly advancing her clients’ interests and is committed to promoting access to justice. Katherine has extensive experience representing clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and frequently acts for survivors of domestic abuse, victims of modern slavery and human trafficking, and individuals at risk of gender-based violence.

In her family practice, Katherine is regularly instructed to appear in the Family Courts before judges at all levels. She represents clients in private and public children cases, matters with an international element, and injunctive proceedings. Her experience includes applications for Child Arrangements Orders, Special Guardianship Orders, Forced Marriage Protection Orders, and Non-Molestation Orders. Katherine is a compassionate and dedicated advocate who supports clients from the first hearing through to complex, multi-day final hearings, including cases involving allegations of child sexual abuse or where an intermediary is required. She welcomes publicly funded clients.

Katherine also has a strong immigration and public law practice. She regularly appears in the Immigration Tribunals, representing both publicly and privately funded clients in all areas of immigration law. She has particular expertise in refugee and asylum cases and is known for her ability to work effectively with vulnerable clients. Beyond her practice, Katherine contributes regularly to the legal blog Free Movement and is an expert author for LexisNexis.
