Immigration and Public Law

Prior to joining Goldsmith Chambers, Katherine had a busy practice in immigration and asylum law at Turpin Miller LLP. She is an experienced immigration and public law practitioner and represents both publicly and privately funded clients in the Immigration Tribunals in all aspects of immigration law. Katherine has particular expertise in refugee cases and is known for her ability to work with vulnerable clients. She is regularly published by the legal blog, ‘Free Movement’ and is an expert author for LexisNexis.

Katherine fearlessly advances her clients’ interests and is dedicated to access to justice. This was recognised when she was awarded the prestigious Ann Goddard Scholarship by Gray’s Inn in 2024. She has also received numerous awards for her academic achievements such as the ‘University of Law Prize’ for outstanding performance.

Family Law

Katherine has represented clients in private law children proceedings and in applications for urgent injunctions. During pupillage she gained extensive experience in a broad range of family matters including complex public law children cases. Katherine is a compassionate advocate who frequently works with survivors of domestic abuse and has completed specialist training in this area.

Civil and Regulatory Law

Katherine has a keen interest in regulatory work, representing UK regulators such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council. She is available for regulatory work and civil instructions.
