Linda has a very busy family and immigration practice; often her cases involve both areas of law. Linda is well respected for her thorough preparation and attention to detail.
Linda’s family practice encompasses all aspects of family law including cohabitation, Trusts of Land & Appointment of Trustees Act applications, injunctive relief, divorce, ancillary relief, child abduction, public children and private children matters. Quite often her cases involve a foreign element such as a party having assets abroad or a party wishing to relocate/take a child outside the jurisdiction. Linda regularly appears in the Family Proceedings Courts, County Courts, Principal Registry, High Court and Court of Appeal.
Linda’s immigration practice involves all aspects of asylum, human rights, and immigration & nationality law. She regularly appears in the First Tier Tribunal (first instance appeals), Upper Tribunal (reconsideration on errors of law), Court of Appeal and the Administrative Court (Judicial Review). Linda frequently represents clients from countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe.
Direct Access
Linda is registered to accept instructions from members of the public on a Direct Access basis. She is also available to advise in conference or to draft a written Opinion on specific issues
