Natalie Mahoney

Natalie previously worked as a paralegal for CPS Thames and Chiltern Area on the crown court team, and worked at St Albans, Luton and Aylesbury Crown Court. Natalie helped in preparing cases which were in court that day and dealt with any queries, managed her own case load with cases ranging from Kidnap to dangerous driving, from PTPH to sentence. She prepared cases for trial, prepared advocate bundles for committal for sentences and supported witnesses attending court.

Natalie has experience of being in court and observed appeals, s.28, ground rules hearings, POCA hearings, newton hearings and assisted Counsel with anything needed in court.

Natalie has completed additional courses including dealing with vulnerable witnesses at court, and has worked as a junior clerk in chambers prior to joining the CPS.

Natalie volunteered for the Holocaust Education trust throughout, and visited Auschwitz as part of the project with the charity.
