Stefan Salhan has experience in serious and heavyweight criminal defence work, with particular exposure to large-scale organised crime and complex, multi-handed cases.
He has been directly involved in the defence of allegations concerning substantial conspiracies to supply Class A drugs, including cases involving quantities exceeding 450 kilograms, as well as international importation operations spanning jurisdictions such as Pakistan and Thailand. His experience also extends to significant firearms matters, including cases involving the importation of over 180 prohibited weapons, among them automatic firearms and explosive devices, and one of the largest firearms manufacturing operations uncovered in England, involving in excess of 350 weapons across multiple linked trials.
Stefan has further been involved in the defence of major organised crime cases, including a substantial conspiracy in Derby involving 17 defendants, large quantities of cocaine, firearms, and over £1.2 million in seized cash. He has also assisted in complex drug conspiracies before the Crown Court involving the use of encrypted communication platforms such as Signal, Encrochat, and Telegram.
In addition, Stefan has experience assisting in serious and technically complex fraud matters, including high-profile cybercrime proceedings arising from the Grand Theft Auto VI hack, in which the group known as LAP$US was involved.
He is regularly engaged in demanding cases involving substantial evidence, serious allegations, and complex case structures.
