On 18th May 2023, Chambers was delighted to celebrate our Senior Clerk, John Francis, and his 50 years clerking at the Bar. John has been clerking members of Goldsmith Chambers for 47 years and this year, completed 50 years as a clerk.
John started clerking in August 1972 at 1 KBW, moving to 1 Dr Johnson’s as the First Junior in January 1976 and then taking over as Senior Clerk there in 1994.
We were very pleased to celebrate John’s clerking career and many more years to come with him, his family and friends. John is a tower of strength in Chambers and leads with integrity and calm. We are so proud and privileged to work with him and we are truly grateful for his dedication to our Chambers.
We are very lucky to have him!
