Chambers’ members in Counsel magazine

We are pleased to see that some of our members appear in this month’s Counsel Magazine.

There is an article about the Bar Pro Bono 2019 Award Winners. Anthony Metzer QC was interviewed as Pro Bono QC of the year, where he shared his experiences of undertaking pro bono work. He said:

“ I have retained a strong desire to do pro bono work in the different fields in which I practise. I consider pro bono work to be an essential public service and obligation upon lawyers who have benefited from privileged educational opportunities .Pro bono work can be immensely rewarding.”

Sanaz Saifolahi also features in this article. She was recognised by the judging panel as highly commended as a junior for her work on the Banger case.

Vicki Wilson has written her inaugural piece as Chair of Wellbeing At The Bar. She stated:

“It’s fantastic that there is much more open conversation about wellbeing these days, but at the forefront of my mind is a firm intention to ensure that wellbeing does not become an empty buzzword”.
