NMC Proceedings

News

Julian Norman was instructed by the NMC in respect of fitness to practice proceedings taken by the regulator against a nurse accused of multiple allegations of misconduct including sexual harassment, sexual assault, and abusing his position by pressuring a junior colleague into a sexual relationship in which he was controlling. The panel accepted that the definition of coercive controlling behaviour (CCB ) should be the one used in the family courts, found that he had been controlling in the relationship and that his fitness to practice was impaired as a result. He was struck off the register.
