Webinar – Windrush Workshop

Articles

The Goldsmith immigration and public law team and senior practitioner Emma Harris were delighted to collaborate with Jacqueline McKenzie, of Mckenzie, Beute & Pope for this webinar workshop as part of the team’s Spring 2021 Series.

You can access a copy of the presentation slides here and view the recording by clicking on the link immediately below.

Experienced Windrush lawyers Emma Harris and Jacqueline McKenzie provide this hands-on session to legal practitioners, to help identify potential Windrush Claimants and the status they might be eligible for. The case-studies (and the answers), which were considered live in separate break-out sessions by attendees and brought together at the end of the workshop by the panel, have been included in the accompanying presentation slides (available through the link above).

Readers may also find this article that Emma has previously published – ‘The Windrush Scandal: A Nationality Law Perspective’ – a useful resource, with further detail on the legal frameworks and issues covered during the workshop as well as Emma’s very own Nationality Advice Service website, which you can access here.
