Goldsmith Chambers is delighted to be participating in the 2026 Bar Placement Scheme, an initiative that helps widen access to the profession as well as promote diversity and social mobility at the Bar. The Bar Placement Scheme gives students in years 12 and 13, and first year undergraduates, a real-life insight into the profession.
The Bar Council works with Pathways to Law and the Social Mobility Foundation to deliver the scheme; it is further supported by the Council of the Inns of Court, the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, and the four Inns of Court.
We are looking forward to our two students joining us next week who will shadow barristers in court and experience Chambers life.
More information as to the scheme can be found at the Bar Council’s website.
