Chambers is delighted to welcome Jamil Dhanji as a member, who joins Chambers’ immigration and public law team from Lamb Building.

Jamil Dhanji (2010) – Jamil is a public and human rights lawyer, specialising in all areas of personal and business immigration, international protection and nationality law. He advises and represents clients at all levels in appeals and judicial reviews. In addition, he practises in community care, Court of Protection and education law.

Jamil has developed a reputation for excellent client care, thorough preparation, clear advice, creative problem-solving and fearless advocacy. His practice is built on the principles of being accessible to the solicitors who instruct him, fighting his hardest for those he represents and leaving no stone unturned in trying to secure a successful outcome for his clients.

Jamil has a number of reported cases, has been published and lectures extensively in public and human rights law. He is Visiting Lecturer at the University of Law. He also runs pro bono legal advice clinics at a number of charities. Jamil is qualified to accept instructions directly from the members of the public through the Bar’s direct access scheme.
