Charlotte Bull secured convictions for two counts of Rape and one count of Threatening to Disclose Indecent Images in a case involving a Defendant who “cat-fished” his Victim. The defendant lured the complainant to his home address following a prolonged and targeted campaign where he pretended to be someone else over social media. Once the complainant was in his home he forced her to agree to sex with him using threats and coercion. Charlotte was involved in the case from an early stage and was instrumental in shaping the strategy of the prosecution.
