Charlotte Proudman nominated for the True Honour Awards 2019

Chambers are delighted to announce that Charlotte Proudman has been nominated for the True Honour awards 2019, in recognition of the work she does to take a stand against honour based violence, in particular FGM. Charlotte is vocal in raising awareness of FGM (female genital mutilation), and often attends events and lectures to raise awareness of this extremely sensitive issue.

Charlotte holds a PhD in FGM law and policy, obtained from the university of Cambridge. She was interviewed on Friday 1st February on BBC Radio 4, please click here to listen to the interview.
