Dominic Bell secured the acquittal of a door supervisor who was charged with a serious assault upon a patron of the nightclub for whom he worked. The case involved a frame by frame analysis of CCTV footage and the question of causation relating to injuries. As a result of careful cross-examination, the judge at Canterbury Crown Court withdrew the case from the jury and directed they return a verdict of Not Guilty.
