You are invited to a seminar on ‘FGM and family law’ organised by Barnardo’s National FGM Centre in partnership with Goldsmith Chambers. Two leading family barristers from Goldsmith Chambers have agreed to provide the seminar.
The seminar will provide an overview of:
- The legal remedies available in family law for cases of FGM.
- Criminal legislation designed to prevent and prosecute cases of FGM.
- The link between legal remedies available for cases of FGM, forced marriage, honour-based violence, and breast ironing.
This training is beneficial for solicitors, and legal representatives in all areas of family law, particularly those specialising in children matters.
