Head of Chambers Anthony Metzer QC speaks at Sports Law conference

Goldsmith’s Head of Chambers, Anthony Metzer QC was invited to speak at a Sports Law conference co-hosted by the De Montfort University’s Law School in Leicester and the British Association for Sport and the Law.

The half-day conference on 2nd November 2018 “Athlete Care and The Role of the Law 2018” explored key topics in this rapidly changing arena.  The conference was chaired by Genevieve Gordon-Thomson, CEO Tactic Connect, Director of CRISTAL and Head of Sports Law, Jonathan Merritt, Senior Lecturer, DMU Sports Law Research Co- ordinator/Departmental Deputy Head of Research and Claire Sumner, Solicitor and Senior Lecturer.  Anthony delivered a talk on “International Sport and the law from an athlete’s perspective”.
