Dr Anton van Dellen acted for the applicant in the High Court on a without notice basis on 24th November 2015 and then at the return hearing on 7th December 2015 in the case of Khalique v Hussain, when the court granted a freezing injunction in the sum of almost £200,000.
As well as freezing bank accounts, the Judge’s order was for complete disclosure of assets worldwide within 7 days, as well as disclosure of tax records. In this case, the court granted the order in support of proceedings that are concurrently being brought abroad.
