In May 2023 The Inns of Court College of Advocacy sent our very own Alan Robertshaw to Hong Kong to join the local Hong Kong Bar and a number of advocacy trainers from other jurisdictions to take part in advocacy training for aspiring Hong Kong barristers.
As well as Alan, there were representatives from Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and South Africa.
The training took place at the Hong Kong Legal Hub in Justice Place, and was part of the compulsory educational requirements for barristers in Hong Kong.
Amazingly, Alan managed not to cause any international incidents; and now knows how to order vegan food in three local dialects.
