Jamil Dhanji appointed as Judge of the First-Tier Tribunal

Chambers is delighted to announce that Jamil Dhanji, a senior practitioner in the Immigration and Public Law team, has been appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal and has been assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber. Jamil will be leaving the Bar and will start his new full-time appointment on 1st August 2024. You can read the announcement on the Courts and Tribunal Judiciary website here.

Jamil will be missed in Chambers but will no doubt be an asset to the judiciary for many years.
