Jane Heybroek of Chambers’ immigration team was interviewed by Joshua Rozenberg of the BBC. The interview formed part of the BBC Radio 4 programme Law in Action aired on Thursday 21st March 2019.
Last week’s edition featured behind the scenes of an immigration tribunal, Taylor House, in central London. Joshua Rozenberg met applicants who want to stay in Britain and judges who need an encyclopaedic knowledge of world affairs to decide whether they can remain. Jane was the only practicing barrister interviewed and explained the way in which an immigration tribunal hearing is conducted. You can listen to the programme here.
