Joseph Plowright, a member of chambers’ immigration team, was honoured to be invited to Lahore by the School of Law to deliver a training course to Pakistani students and lawyers on advocacy skills. The conference was held at the Pearl Continental Hotel on the 3rd February 2018 with 40 delegates in attendance. The course was extremely successful with one attendee describing it as hugely motivational. Joe has already been asked if he would deliver the course to students and lawyers in Islamabad. During his time in Lahore, he visited Lahore High Court to see proceedings there and also had the privilege to see the spectacular border ceremony at Wagah.
