Remembering FTT Judge Callow

News

The Immigration Team at Goldsmith Chambers is greatly saddened to hear that on 8 April 2020 First-Tier Tribunal Judge Jeremy Callow of Taylor House lost his battle with Coronavirus.

Judge Callow will be remembered by those of us who had the pleasure of appearing before him over many years as a kind, compassionate and considerate judge who treated everyone in his court with kindness, patience, and courtesy. His passing is a real loss for the immigration and human rights world, and his decency, his fair-mindedness, and his humanity will be remembered and missed.

For those of us who had the privilege of knowing him in our judicial capacities as fee-paid Judges he will be remembered most fondly as a kind, considerate, good natured and immensely popular and knowledgeable colleague.

Our thoughts are with his wife, family and friends at this difficult time.
