Robert Meikle successfully prosecuted a case of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and affray at the Central Criminal Court. This related to a nasty stabbing in a street in Romford town centre in the small hours of a Sunday morning. The victim was extremely fortunate that the wound was not a few inches to the side; in which case it could have been a murder allegation. The defendant received a sentence of 5 years 11 months in prison.
