Chambers congratulates Barry Coulter, who has qualified for the 10th time to represent Great Britain in men’s sabre for the Veterans World Fencing Championships to be held in Maribor, Slovenia, in October. Barry joins his wife Grace Ong, also a member of chambers, who qualified in April to represent Great Britain in women’s sabre. To qualify to represent GB outright you need to either win or come 2nd in the Veterans National Championships or the Age Group Championships.
The above photograph shows Barry (with prosecco in hand) winning the gold medal at the Age Group Championships.
