Webinar – Unravelling Difficulties in the EU Settlement Scheme & its Processes

Goldsmith’s immigration and public law team were delighted to collaborate with the3million on a second Brexit mini-webinar series, as part of the team’s Spring 2021 Webinar Series. Together they sought to unravel some of the difficulties around the EU Settlement Scheme, its processes and gaps.

You can access a copy of the presentation slides here and view the recording by clicking on the link immediately below.

The joint heads of the immigration and public law team, Samina Iqbal and Sarah Pinder, together with senior practitioner Amarjit Seehra, provide further detail on the EU Settlement Scheme, continuing with where the first webinar in the Spring 2021 left off. This includes looking at ‘relevant documents’ more closely and how to challenge a refusal or a grant of pre-settled status when settled status was claimed.

Luke Piper, Head of Policy at the3million, explores the reasons for extending the deadline to the EU Settlement Scheme in light of recent data and observations.
