Meyrick Williams and David Barr instructed as leading and junior defence counsel for second defendant in Rochdale grooming case. This is the first trial in a new series following on from the police investigations into historic abuse in Rochdale [Operation Lytton – following on from Op Doublet and others]. Trial at Manchester Minshull Street. The series of trials is expected to run into 2025 or later with Meyrick currently requested to represent other defendants in those trials.
