Oliver Newman and Ian Cain of Goldsmith Chambers presented a webinar entitled “Limitation and Relief from Sanctions in the Age of Covid-19”.

Oliver and Ian spoke about limitation, the impact of the civil procedure rule changes and how to deal with limitation periods when it may be difficult to gather evidence and take instructions. They also discussed what to do when things go wrong and how the courts will approach relief from sanctions applications in the context of the problems created by Covid-19, drawing from the most recent caselaw.
